Codetain-About
IT means people!
Our philosophy
We do IT the green way!
It’s obvious that in Codetain, we love technology and that programming is our second language. We also like to prove that our daily life in the tech industry is something more than just work. We keep up with the events and curiosities in our industry. For a longer time there have been appearing more and more ecology related questions among the IT novelties. We’ve noticed that the development of new technologies, despite appearances, goes hand-in-hand with an increase in social awareness and the sense of environmental responsibility. That got us thinking...
How could Codetain contribute to building a better future for our planet and for the next generations?
In addition to waste sorting, recycling, and reducing car use, we’ve actually started to look much more forward. A great proof of that is the collaboration of Codetain with The Mobility House on electric transportation and recharging spots. We’re proud to say that our app ensured an 80% in electric consumption of the vehicles. We’re absolutely aware that we won’t save the world by ourselves. We deeply believe, though, that we can help make technology green and frugal. In Codetain, we believe that also small and careful steps lead to great achievements!
Will you join us in the green tech adventure?

In 2015, I started Codetain having no idea what an amazing challenge and adventure it will be. Green technology is one of my interests, so putting Codetain in that direction was a natural step...

I’ll start telling you about myself from my roots. Before I became a programmer, my whole world was filming, photography, and making music. Happily, this part of me is still there. Oh, I almost forgot — basketball! I love both playing basketball and going to games...

'Seek first to understand, then to be understood' is one of my life principles. I was more than happy to find my motto in Codetain’s work politics, as well. We’re systematically arranging knowledge sharing sessions...

As a teenager, I never thought that ‘knowledge is the ultimate power tool’ would become my motto. But here I am now — working at Codetain and learning from really awesome senior developers. I spend my evenings gaming with my friends, reading thrillers or developing my own projects...

I once heard that 'Your team is as strong as its weakest link'. Working with my teammates at Codetain I thought to myself Man, do we have any weak link here at all? I like to think of us as a Team for Special Assignments. After 5 years in the tech industry, I ended up at Codetain...

I think I could split my own private world in two parts — sports and technology. I’m practicing martial arts and doing kettlebell trainings. Plus, I love motorsports (F1, FE). When it comes to the other part, I’m following technology news, learning a lot about A.I...

I spend a lot of time in the world of fantasy and sci-fi — reading, gaming, having movie marathons. Also, I won’t say no to a horror movie of poor quality. Badly made horrors have their own kind of charm, I think. The other part of my daily life is obviously my work...

I don’t know how it feels to get bored. On the one hand, I like spending my time taking pictures, creating computer graphics, and reading sci-fi or crime novels...

My programming adventure started with Arduino and RaspberryPI projects. At first, the robots I made were pretty sh… well, not of the best quality. But I didn’t give up. They didn’t work as I hoped, but it still was a huge self-learning experience...

I’d say that I’m rather an introvert. My perfect day off includes reading sci-fi literature and a lot of PC games. I also happen to be a massive history enthusiast. If you’re having doubts about any historical events, just give me a call. Work is of course very important to me, as well...

If anybody told me a couple of years ago that I would became a programmer, I probably would laugh at them. But hey, here I am! Thanks to Codetain I got to know the IT world from different perspectives. Now, I’m a part of our awesome DevOps team...

Writing this description of myself I discovered how varied my personality is. Somehow, I hadn’t noticed that before. Among my hobbies you can find electronic music, technology, gym, and lately… ballroom dancing. Maybe that’s why I feel that I fit Codetain so perfectly...

New technologies and motor vehicles have always been a significant part of my private and professional life. I couldn’t say no when there appeared a chance to work at Codetain on the green energy project...

At first, I was just going to help at Codetain a little — write a couple of emails now and then, take care of their Facebook page… but we apparently needed each other more than we’d thought. Helping Codetain grow is (no exaggeration!) one of my ultimate life goals...
